“I found our time together immensely rewarding and I feel I learnt a lot about myself, particularly in relation to my leadership style. Some of the strengths of our work were: I felt my opinions were always valued and heard. Jo has a fantastically warm nature so I felt able to discuss challenges in a safe and secure environment. She also helped to dispel some myths for me, taking away the fear of the unknown, which helped me to push myself and try new approaches. I felt that Jo kept our time together on track, by holding me to account, with both my overall goals and the session by session tasks I set. At all times I felt in control of my development and learning, this meant I got out as much as I put in. Having to take personal responsibility meant I didn’t rest on my laurels!”
